About Shohei Ohtani
Shohei Ohtani (born July 5, 1994) is a Japanese professional baseball pitcher and designated hitter for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball's (NPB) Pacific League.
Ohtani is widely considered one of the most talented baseball players in history due to his exceptional abilities as both a pitcher and hitter. He made his MLB debut in 2018 with the Los Angeles Angels and signed with the Dodgers in 2023. Ohtani has won two American League MVP awards and has been selected to multiple All-Star games.
